Parminder has led three whole school transformation projects with varying challenges and complexities, including one at The Heritage School, Gurgaon. The other two are O P Jindal Modern School, Hisar, Vidya Bhawan Basic School, Udaipur. He has been working in the area of progressive education for last one decade. He believes education must empower children for life through designing teaching-learning processes in the real context. Inspired by Gandhian principles of work-centred education, he founded Disha India Centre for Experiential Learning in year 2006 with a vision to develop schools as centers for learning and empowerment –and empower children for life through life. Through the last decade, he has been working in designing the teaching-learning processes based on theory of experiential learning and also how to develop the learning how to learn and create capacity.

He is an engineer from REC, Kurukshetra and an MBA from Symbiosis, Pune. He has done his schooling form St.Theresa’s Convent School, Karnal

Parminder is also a long distance runner, he has run two marathons so far.
